There is a plethora of websites devoted to genealogy, many of which we all subscribe to or visit regularly. But eBay? You’d be surprised. Especially when searching for a hometown or other location. Here is just a sample of the things you can find:

Of course, it is always “buyer beware,” but I’ve found some great buys, including a book celebrating the 100th anniversary of my ancestor’s hometown!
