Thursday, April 6
Writers Group (Special Interest Groups (SIG))
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Central Resource Library at 1 p.m.
Our writing group has two purposes. One is to encourage its participants to be actively engaged in writing something relating to their family history. It could be a personal memory, a life story or biographical sketch, or a story about an ancestor. The other purpose is to provide a comfortable environment that is friendly and nurturing yet challenging. Participants can learn ways to bring genealogy to life and to make their writing engaging and interesting to others.
The group has returned to meeting in person at the Central Resource Library, 87th & Farley, Overland Park, KS.
